Keepr is a pocket-sized personal breathalyzer that provides a quick way to check your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) and view results on the connected app.
Keepr serves a variety of audiences including those looking for a way to make driving safer, establish accountability and healthier habits, and even those who are required to prove their sobriety in a legal setting. Keepr is designed to make alcohol testing accessible, affordable, and convenient,. no matter your reason.
The Keepr breathalyzer uses fuel cell technology to measure the breath alcohol concentration (BrAC), reliably. When you blow into our device, any alcohol on your breath will interact with the device and produce results. When Keepr is integrated with your vehicle using Keepr Drive, it connects to your vehicle’s ignition to require a breath sample before your vehicle will start.
Keepr provides accurate results ±0.005 within a range of 0.010 to 0.050 g/210L. For most accurate results, please ensure the device is well-maintained and properly calibrated.
Keepr users control who they share data with using role-based permissions so you are in control of who sees what data, and you can revoke access at any time. If you have been court-ordered to share your BrAC results with another party such as a co-parent or ex-spouse, you can choose to exclude certain sensitive information such as location data.
So-called “false positives” usually refer to breath samples that yield a positive BrAC reading when no alcoholic beverages have been consumed. This can happen due to other substances recently ingested and other environmental factors. Users can retest as many times as desired to gather additional data and determine whether a given sample may have been due to contaminants or other environmental factors.
Users are advised to wait 20 minutes after eating or drinking before testing for accurate results. Residue in the mouth immediately after eating or drinking can interfere with sample quality.
